If your a numbers person here’s my raw data.
I don’t have a cholesterol problem! I eat better than most people… or do I?
Monday was Memorial Day. I am not a calorie counter. I can’t even remember the number of chicken wings I consumed and yes, they were covered in blue cheese. Italian sausage, burgers, I ate a salad too! Well, make that a fruit salad. I’m sure it was just a bad weekend right?
I’m not going to get into my conspiracy theory how the pharmaceutical companies and the doctors benefit from each other. How about the chart? Why does the average matter anyways? Our grandparents never had their levels checked and a lot of them lived a long time.
I don’t want him to put me on medication to lower my cholesterol. I also don’t want to argue the above with the doctor. He knows more than me and I would lose. So… I have one choice. My number needs to drop in a month when I get checked again. I’m going to be exercising a little more and avoiding as much processed food as possible. How about you? Any tips for me? How can I lower my LDL number?
