The last time I teamed up with JORD wood watches, friends who saw the post on Facebook were texting me asking how to win.
I responded that it was quite simple. The first person to get two dozen chocolate chip cookies (still warm if possible) to my house wins.
That was a joke, folks.
But obviously they were swooning with delight over my wood watch wanting one, too.
Not that I blamed them. My turquoise JORD wood watch with a zebrawood band is a thriller. Ladies watches. Men's watches. JORD has it all. JORD appeals to all.
So I'm over-the-moon thrilled that JORD wood watches is back with a twist on a watch you don't want to miss!
How JORD watches are like a box of chocolates
And no doubt the sponge candy from the grocery store will taste just fine.
But it comes in a plastic bag with a wire twist tie. Not attractive. Certainly doesn't strike you as being a gift.
Or....you could head to the local chocolate shop and purchase a box of refined chocolates presented in a an attractive box.
Which would you rather receive? Eat? Devour a pound of in one sitting binge watching Outlander?
Looks counts for something, friends!
That's why I refuse to wear peanut butter stained sweat pants in public anymore. (It used to be a thing).
JORD watches are a gift for yourself, a friend, spouse, mom, dad, sister, brother for just about any occasion. Okay, maybe not Halloween.
When you tear open a JORD wood watch box, you are opening a treasure. A classic timepiece showcased in a lovely box.
The first JORD watch I ever saw, the Cora zebrawood & turquoise watch was displayed in a stunning wood box.
The Sier watch arrived in an elegant paper box. Either way, the display was well-done. Quite attractive!
Both are pure watch eye candy.
What's so special about the Sier?
And did you know? Each watch dial is rough cut from white marble and hand polished to a silky luster. It's stunning to behold.
But perhaps my favorite bit about the Sier is the $60 replacement metal mesh band in rose gold that comes with the watch.
It's so easy to swap out the white leather band for the rose gold metal mesh band for a brand new look! It just depends on what I'm wearing that day or the mood I'm in.
Nothing could be easier than switching the bands. No tools needed whatsoever. It's a quick-release pin system that makes the switcharoo simple to do.
Modern and minimalist, the Sier is a stunning addition to your wardrobe. You can't help but admire how JORD uses raw materials for such elegant and refined design.
How JORD does raw materials right!
The leather band on my SIER feels wonderful on the wrist. Comfortable and chic. The mesh band is equally compelling and comfortable.
Marble makes the Sier watch truly a one-of-a-kind timepiece. Unique but classic.
But JORD also offers wood bands that are fashioned from sustainable, yet exotic woods to grace your wrist including:
- Golden camphor
I'll readily admit that my bias slants towards the zebrawood as my Cora wood watch band is made out of zerbrawood. The purpleheart wood is also a thriller!
I so much appreciate all the lovely stripes and patterns that made this wood band unique and intriciate. So pleasing to the eye!
My dentist and my JORD watch
And my dentist was marveling over my wood watch. (This was about a week before my Sier arrived.)
"Wow, he says...a wood watch, you don't see those very often. In fact, I don't think I've ever seen a wood watch before. I like it"
He had lots of questions. Not sure how he thought I was going to respond with a mouth filled with cotton balls but there you have it.
Still, his admiration was clear.
In fact, my kid's pediatrician had the exact same reaction when she saw me wearing the Sier watch the following week. Raving compliments from her!
I guess doctors tend to be observant so looking at your wrist is normal.
The only time I take off my JORD watch...
It just depends on the look I'm going for the day.
Because if you're anything like me, you like to be on the pulse of time.
Nothing worse than forgetting to put my watch on in the morning and spending the day fumbling in my purse to find my phone to check the time. This happens every 5 minutes, too!
It's likely that I consult a watch of some sort 50 times a day, certainly not less.
I still remember my 5th Grade band teacher commenting on how often I looked at the clock during my 30 minute flute lesson.
He thought I was just precise. Perhaps "squirrelly 5th grader" would be a better description.
How about you? Do you find you are constantly checking the time?
Men and JORD wood watches
Clearly, he wanted one, too. I ended up relenting so he ordered his own JORD Watch.
Funny that it took him longer to select his watch than me when surfing the JORD website. Again. Men!
After much deliberation, he went with the Frankie Ebony & Gold watch.
I'll admit, it looks great and blends nicely with all his outfits. This is his first watch that isn't sporty in style.
It's minimalist design and black canvas highlighted with gold is both elegant and chic for a night out (as in Applebee's), church, or just gathering with friends and family.
The Frankie Ebony & Gold Watch compliments him dressed up as a sports coach but can blend just as easily with casual dress.
Last timely thoughts....
Get her a JORD Watch. Then watch her glow when she opens that box.
Until then, if you have any questions or just can't decide on a watch, JORD offers live chat right on their landing page. It's super helpful!
In fact, the entire website is quite well-done by being so user-friendly. The pictures accurately depict the watches they offer and the descriptions are equally insightful.
Because attention to every minute and intricate detail is what a JORD Watch is all about.
JORD is the creme de la creme of timepieces right down to every last tick.
